Recently, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau conducted quality inspections on spare tire covers in the automotive aftermarket and found that 5 batches of products were unqualified. The main problems are poor impact resistance of the material, unstable fixed structure, and cracking and deformation of some products after high and low temperature testing.
The sampling results show that most of the unqualified products are low-priced "three no" products, with prices only one-third of compliant products. The regulatory authorities have ordered relevant merchants to immediately take down their products and initiate investigations into the production enterprises. Staff remind that low-quality spare tire covers are prone to falling off during high-speed driving. Consumers should check the product inspection report when purchasing and prioritize brands with quality certification. Do not be tempted by cheap prices.
